Research Interests
My research focuses on improving understanding of the function and dynamics of the rumen microbial ecosystem during fermentation and developing strategies that redirect hydrogen away from the methanogenesis pathway and towards beneficial compounds for the host, ultimately mitigating methane emissions and enhancing ruminant productivity at the same time.
